TheCurvyCon with JCPenney

When I left NY last year I felt really ready for a break from the city, but one of the things I knew I would miss was the connection, love, and support from the blogger community, particularly the plus size community. Being back at theCURVYcon felt like a massive family reunion. I am in awe of the beautiful women who gathered to celebrate each other as women of all shapes and sizes. We are all in this together – fighting for size inclusivity and diversity and it’s pretty magical to see what happens when we come together.

This year I was really excited to get to partner with JCPenney during theCURVYcon. JCPenney has become my one-stop destination for stylish and affordable fashion. They offer incredible style and value for all like.

While I was at theCURVYcon I got to spend time at the JCPenney booth. It was awesome to be able to check out the new Fall fashion trends and speak the designers. Below are some of the Fall trends that the JCPenney’s senior designer of modern plus shared with me.

Rebel Romance:
I am all about mixing feminine and edgy pieces! This Fall JCPenney is helping us bring out our inner romantic rebel with boho influenced items that play off of the edginess of hardware details. Some of my favorites include this floral maxi dress paired with this studded moto jacket.

The menswear trend is definitely one of my favorites and JCPenney has created so many pieces that are perfect for us curvy ladies including these high-waisted wide ted trousers. These pants will be one of my go-to’s all season, for sure. I also love the idea of mixing patterns. I am currently loving these trousers paired with leopard.
